About Maria

Hello! I'm Maria. I graduated Macalester College in 2025. I went to high school at Southwest (Minneapolis) and did a lot of work with kids during that time. I worked at Lucy's Outdoor Dance Camp and taught private lessons (dance, Spanish) for 3 different families. In college, I volunteered in a math class at Hidden River Middle School (St. Paul) and did virtual tutoring (English, Spanish, Math) with an organization called Around Cloud Tutors. I was also a residential assistant at Macalester for 3 years, which means that I lived in a residence hall and hosted events for students, provided on-call support, and did walk throughs of the building to ensure safety. For fun, I like to take walks and listen to music, go on bike rides, and chat with friends over tea and baked goods. Some words people use to describe me are quiet, thoughtful, and kind.
