I have taught math, reading, social studies, writing, dance and theatre to children. I have tutored children from Kindergarten through 12th grade. I love to dance, sing, go for walks and play games. I don't drive but I use the public transportation well. I am going for my Masters in Special Education currently and have a focus with children with ASD. Stephanie looked after my 3 year old while I was in town for a short work trip. I was nervous about leaving him with a new person in a new place on the day we flew into town, but Stephanie was an absolute pro, flexible with my unusual work hours, bringing a book about an interest I had mentioned over a phone and engaging with him in a way that made him feel immediately calm and happy. Her high level of prior experience was always apparent (understanding toddler talk, finding a beautiful balance between creating structure and following his interest), but she also fit seamlessly into our family rhythm. The second day she was with us she suggested and then took him on a fantastic outing that he loved. I got to completely relax and enjoy my work. I can't recommend her enough!
