About Ava

I'm a student at Macalester with four years of babysitting experience. I worked as a nanny last summer and taught at various summer camps throughout middle and high school. I find nurturing children in their social, emotional, and academic growth to be incredibly fulfilling. A few of my favorite activities are biking, skiing, reading, arts and crafts, cooking, and baking. I can help with homework, meal prep, and other household responsibilities. I am fully vaccinated. I started working with kids when I was 13 and I aged out of a summer camp I had been going to for years. I decided to become a summer intern and realized that I loved working with kids and fostering their learning. I've continued to work with kids for the last five years and I keep finding new things to enjoy!
