About Mara

Hi! My name is Mara. I'm 27 with 10 years of paid childcare experience, plus over a decade of hands-on experience helping raise my own siblings. I've worked through providing care for infants through teenagers (up to age 16), supporting families in short-term, long-term, and overnight roles. My experience includes infant and toddler care, teen supervision, school drop-offs and pick-ups, driving to activities, homework help, meal prep, light housekeeping related to childcare, and outings to the park, pool, and beach. I'm dependable, adaptable, and comfortable maintaining consistent routines. I also run a nonprofit focused on childcare support, and due to school funding cuts, I'm currently seeking a stable 1-2 year position while I rebuild.
