About Emily

I have experience working with children from the ages of 9 months to 12 years old over the past 10+ years. I have been worked as a long-term nanny for over 4 years, and have babysat for infants and children since I was 11 years old. I have experience volunteering in elementary school classrooms for over 5 years, assisting the teacher with monitoring and helping students on a one-on-one basis. Currently, I live and work in Los Angeles as a freelance photographer and balance personal work with childcare. I enjoy bringing artistic creativity into my work with children as well, and have a robust selection of craft supplies and expertise to keep children engaged and learning through play. In addition, I am a certified yoga and meditation teacher, and would be happy to include mindfulness activities to support children's emotional regulation and relaxation skills.
