I am a professional teacher/caregiver in matters disability especially taking care and training young Adults with Intellectual disabilities& those within the Autism Spectrum Disorder I have 30 years experience in this field with an Education degree in SPED attatched to it. I train in ADL, Functional Skills, Social Skills and is also able to use AAC syrategies to communicate with those who have challenges with expressive speech. Preparation for life after school/ college is also part of my Agenda where I commit to train in world of work, managing self, money issues, shopping etc. I have trained in First Aid and would prefer a schedule where I can work in between the hours; 3. 00pm- 6. 00 a.m. during week days and whole day and night on weekends. Other than general care of a Resident, I can also help with household chores likr cooking, cleaning and even care of pets.
