Loving and experienced caregiver with 15 years of experience. I have experience with children 4 months to 15 years and have been a long term nanny for several families. I am also in training to be a doula and have gone through birth doula, lactation support, and childbirth ed training classes. I am passionate about social justice, creative projects and healthy local food, and always look to share this with the children I care for. One of the most rewarding experiences of childcare has been sharing my love of cooking with the children I work with. I also value time outdoors and creative, active play-- in the past, nature walks, working in the family garden, and art time have been highlights. I have a car with a clean driving record, am highly organized and willing to do housekeeping, meal prep, and other household tasks in addition to childcare. Looking for shorter term and as needed work, happy to do longer term overnights. Would be particularly excited to care for a queer family.

Kristie worked with us for over a year and was extremely dependable. She cared for our preschool aged son and was a huge help to our family and household. Kristie did many meaningful activities with our son, teaching him things like basic cooking, practicing kindness to others, using our local bus, and many crafting projects. She is respectful and always aligned with our parenting style. Kristie also provided house sitting for us while we were out of town, and occasional transporting for our son from school/camp/classes etc. She is a very conscientious, out going, and a very positive person. Kristie is ambitious, thoughtful and kind and also has a great sense of humor. We keep in touch with Kristie and visit with her when she is in town. We feel very lucky to have her as a part of our lives and to continue to be in our son's life as a friend.
