Children and infants have always had a special place in my heart! I volunteered at Providence St. Vincent's NICU for a time and have also been a babysitter over the years to numerous friends' and families' loved ones. I received my Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED certification through the American Heart Association. I was also fingerprinted in 2025 and have a clean background check through DHS as I continue to provide childcare to my sweet 1-year-old foster nephew! I would be so honored to care for your little one! My schedule is pretty flexible, and I'm looking for anything up to 10 hrs per week. In my free time, I love to read, play board games, spend time with family, bake, and create hand lettering art. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

I honestly can’t speak highly enough of our experience with Kerissa. Kerissa started caring for our son when he was only a couple months old and from the very beginning, she has been incredibly engaged, attentive, and loving with him. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about him, his needs, and wellbeing. She seeks out new ways to engage with him and I have appreciated her awareness of developmentally appropriate activities for my son. Kerissa has been thoughtful to ask about our parenting preferences and honors our wishes. Kerissa has been very easy to communicate with from the start. She has kept us informed with little updates when we are away! We feel completely safe knowing our son is in her care. We feel very fortunate to have Kerissa in our son’s life and would highly recommend her to any family looking for someone who is trustworthy, caring, and responsible.
