About Marissa

I have provided childcare for children ages 2-14 on since I was 18. During this time, I engaged in crafts, music, yoga, and other practices with the children. I have experience taking care of 5 children overnight, which included getting them to bed, and other light bedtime duties. Most recently I have worked as Montessori guide & Substitute teacher working with children 0-6years old. I have also been responsible for cooking and tending to household needs. I enjoy spending quality time with each child and getting to understand their specific interests (depending on age.) I love working with kids because I not only have a natural tendency toward caregiving, but I am personally lit up by the experience of nurturing and supporting a child in their own growth and development.
