About Kate

I'm a tutor with experience working with individuals aged 6 to 32! I have mostly worked with children and adults with disabilities including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. My specialty is working with children and adults with ADHD, and I have had much success in helping build the stamina of clients who struggle to focus. I can tutor clients in grades K-8 in any subject. In addition, I tutor clients in high school and college level Reading, Writing, Psychology, and Social Studies. As well as this I can also help with homework, study, and focusing strategies. I also employ these focusing strategies and behavior modification when I babysit. Regarding schooling, I graduated in 2021 from the University of Hartford with a BA in Psychology and a minor in English. Along with this, I graduated Summa Cum Laude. I also ran a study, as well as completed, defended, and published an associated thesis through the University.
