About Alana

I'm an experienced, patient, and enthusiastic tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students build confidence and succeed. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education, English, and Literature, a Master's degree in Psychology, and I am currently pursuing my PhD in Clinical and Health Psychology. I have experience working with students of different ages and learning styles as both a classroom teacher and one-on-one tutor. I can help with English, reading, writing, science, math, study skills, homework support, test preparation, and college readiness. I also have experience supporting students with ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, anxiety, and other unique learning needs. I love making learning fun and engaging through interactive activities, practice questions, games, and personalized study plans.
