About Skyler

Hi! I'm Sky, a Columbia graduate student with a bachelor's degree in Psychological & Brain Sciences from George Washington University. I've been tutoring since high school and have experience working with elementary and middle school students, as well as teens. I'm comfortable helping with all major subjects, including math, science, English, reading, writing, and social studies, along with homework help, studying, organization, test prep, and college prep. I also have experience working with adolescents through my Columbia field placement in a school and afterschool setting. I'm patient, encouraging, and good at explaining things in different ways until they click. I try to make tutoring feel supportive and low-pressure while still helping students stay focused, build confidence, and become more independent.
