About Kaelyn

Hi! I'm Kaelyn, an elementary educator at Greenhill School with a B. A. in English-Creative Writing from Bucknell University. I have several years of experience working with children of different ages and learning styles, including teaching poetry and creative writing in K-12 classrooms and supporting students with learning differences. I especially love helping students build confidence in reading and writing! I can support elementary students with reading comprehension, spelling, grammar, writing, and homework, as well as middle and high school students with English, essays, and creative writing. My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student. I want kids to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and discovering that learning can actually be fun. I'm available for after-school and weekend tutoring in the North Dallas/Addison area and would love to connect with your family!
