About Teresa Faye

I am a retired elementary school teacher with over 30 years of experience in private Christian schools, and home school tutoring settings. I have also directed private schools and bring a calm, patient, and warm personality that seeks to build and establish great relationships with students and parents. I particularly enjoy language arts, reading and writing tutoring, but have tutored in most elementary subjects and have experience with hybrid classical methods. I love to bring creative and fun learning strategies to subjects that help break big ideas into smaller achievements that build student's confidence and enjoyment of the subject. I understand the need to be firm in completing assignments in a timely manner and enjoy helping children learn how to stay organized and on task. On the personal side, I am a wife and fun, nuturing grandmother who enjoys artistic creativity, reading, writing, and playing the piano and guitar.
