About Laura

Hi! My name is Laura, and I'm a tutor and writer here in Dallas! I graduated from Ursuline Academy with highest honors in 2017, and went on to Fordham University, where I majored in English and history. I now work as a full-time private homeschool teacher and after-school tutor. When I'm not working with students, I'm taking French and Arabic classes, playing with my yellow lab, or working on my second YA novel! I specialize in elementary homeschool in all subjects, as well as English (reading, writing, grammar, spelling, and handwriting) and history for middle and high school students. I have experience working with students with dyslexia and ADHD, as well as students who need help with organization and study skills. I also work with students to complete their college applications and essays, and I have experience working as a test prep tutor for the ISEE test for private school admissions.
