Hi, I'm Julia. I am living in Truro for the summer before starting law school in August. I graduated from the University of Denver in 2022.

I have nearly 10 years of experience in childcare. I was a nanny in high school and college. I have taught youth soccer, and I was a math tutor for my university's athletic department. I've spent the past 3 winters teaching kids of all ages snowboarding and skiing in Colorado. 

I have lots of experience caring for children of all ages. I grew up around horses, so I love animals and am very comfortable with all types of pets. I am also very comfortable with helping out around the house if needed. Feel free to message me with any questions!

Julia is a wonderful young woman who did an amazing job first as our growing children's Nanny, then a tutor during Covid, and now helping with our pets. She is extremely reliable, trustworthy and compassionate. During the pandemic, she connected with our entire family and helped our then 4th and 6th graders get through challenging emotional and educational experiences. She has become an extension of our family and whenever she's home, always checks in with us. She demonstrates caring consistently. When we adopted a cat, she proactively made sure our children were educated on the responsibilities of handling a pet and the do's and don't. She brought the kids on numerous outdoor adventures and made their summer extra special. We cannot say enough great things about Julia and strongly recommend her.

Julia was such an amazing babysitter for our two children (2.5 and 10 months). We've asked  her to babysit multiple times and not only is she quick to answer the phone/text she incredibly dependable and timely. We gave her an hour heads up once and she was there with a smile on! It was so nice to find someone who truly cared and enjoyed being with our kids. Leaving your children with anyone can be scary but she always made us feel like our kids were in fantastic hands! We hope to be able to use her more and more in the future!

Julia was taking care of my eight year old daughter and was helping with remote school.  She was also caring for my daughter after school was over and meal prep/cooking.  My daughter had a great time with Julia!  Julia is very patient and loves playing games and keeping things fun!

Julia is sweet, pleasant, great with kids and a hard worker. She takes great care of our 2 year old, who was her primary responsibility. She would also watch my 10 and 12 year olds when they came home from school. She always took my toddler outside to play and never just set her in front of the TV. My 12 year old has Down syndrome and Julia would play Barbies with her and she would have dance parties with all of the girls. When the baby was napping she would empty and reload the dishwasher. Julia worked for us 2-3 days per week until she began her full time nursing job. We still have Julia babysit occasionally, when it fits with her nursing schedule. You won't regret hiring her!

Julia babysat our two kids 7 / 3 years old she was very responsible, reliable and enthusiastic with our kids. Great to work with - Would definitely hire her again.

I interviewed Julia for a part-time nanny position with flexible hours depending on my kids schedules. Unfortunately, Julia underestimated her role and responsibilities as she already signed up for another job as a waitress in a restaurant, did not want to work more than 40 hours / per week with 2 jobs and wanted to have extra time off to see her family on the cape during the summer. Julia is completely not professional and can't handle a phone conversation. She cancelled our in-person interview and prefers to handle communication by emails or text messages. Julia needs to grow up and face the reality of an old traditional job interview. Be careful when she applies to your job postings, you will waste your time with her...

Julia is a caring, dependable caregiver who has compassion for kids of all ages. She is punctual, sweet and showed empathy toward my child in the little time I got to know her. My son loved Julia. I would definitely hire her again!
