About Jax

Hi im Jax! I'd love to support a family with children that have complex needs, whether it's a learning disability or issues surrounding mobility or other impairments, I'm here to help. I've been around kids my whole life, with 3 siblings, dozens of cousins, and family friend's children I've always been helping out. I started my professional career in my gap year of high school, working in the dorms and summer camps at the Texas school for the blind where I helped support kids and young adults aged 8 to 22. Seeing how my work impacted the children and their families pushed me to take the leap into adaptive education. I have experience working with children with autism, adhd, anxiety, epilepsy, visual impairments, hearing impairments, physical disabilities including low mobility and paralysis. I love to read fiction/young adult novels, arts and crafts, play mystery games and music. I moved to Bellingham to attend WWU in 2023 and I'm currently taking a break from my degree.
