About Marlena

Hello! My name is Marlena, I'm someone who has been in a caregiving role for as long as I can remember. Growing up as the oldest of eight, caring for others has always been a natural part of who I am. I studied Early Childhood Education in college and have experience working with children in a variety of settings. I've worked in after-school programs with the Boys & Girls Club, coached youth soccer, tee ball, and basketball, and spent a year working in Seattle schools with City Year after graduating. These experiences helped me build strong skills in supporting children's growth, learning, and emotional well-being. I don't take the trust of caring for someone's child lightly, and I always try to create a space where kids feel safe, supported, and able to just be themselves. I'd love to be someone your family can rely on and feel comfortable with!
