I've been working in childcare for around six years. During that time, I've had the privilege of supporting children of all ages in a variety of settings from teaching leadership in school districts, outdoor education and working as a preschool teacher. I'm also a big believer in the power of nature. I enjoy hiking, swimming in the ocean, and finding creative ways to get kids outside and connected with the world around them. Exploring the outdoors is not just fun. It's also a great way for kids to build independence and resilience. I also love to bring my social emotional skills to help kids regulate emotions.
