About Jakob

Hello, my name is Jakob, and I bring eight years of professional tutoring and childcare experience supporting students from preschool through college. I specialize in personalized, one-on-one instruction in math, English, science, and social studies, as well academic coaching, study skills, organization, and executive functioning support. I've worked with students of all backgrounds, including those with ADHD, dyslexia, and processing delays, using clear, step-by-step methods tailored to each learner's needs and learning style. My experience also includes leading educational activities in daycare and after-school programs, helping children develop strong foundational and critical thinking skills. I'm currently pursuing a dual major in Hospitality and Education at Florida International University, blending structure, empathy, and attention to detail to create a positive learning environment. My goal is to help every student build confidence, motivation, and a lifelong love of learning.
