About Charnetta

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With 10 years of experience and a graduate degree, I specialize in Math, English, and Study Skills. I hold certifications as a Certified teacher, Individualized Education Programs (IEP), and Student accommodation plans (504). My approach focuses on building confidence by breaking complex problems into manageable steps and connecting concepts to your child's unique interests. I actively observe how each student interacts with new material to tailor my methods, whether through visual aids or hands-on practice. Because I have extensive experience with diverse learning needs, I am dedicated to fostering an environment where every student thrives. I prioritize clear communication to ensure we remain a collaborative team. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks is why I love what I do. I look forward to supporting your child's journey toward academic success.
