I want to start off by saying that children are amazing sponges with a vast imagination and capacity to learn and grow. As an educator and private tutor for music, the past 11 years have been nothing short of rewarding. Teaching makes me happy because every time I see a child accomplish their goal I just want to celebrate them. Every step counts and making moments at home count matter too not just in school. Music has a way of bringing more to the heart and it is challenging for a young mind. It helps with neuroplasticity and helps people have a healthy outlet for their emotions no matter how small. Also, when kids have the right teachers they can lead them to believing in themselves more through encouragement and positive support. I've worked with regular and special kids and it's always exciting to see what each child is like. They all have a mind of their own.
