About Diana

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with an ESOL endorsement from Florida International University. I graduated in 2010 with knowledge and experience in school counseling and speech therapy. I am fully bilingual (English and Spanish) oral and written. I have been teaching for 10 years and tutoring for 15. I have tutored a range of grade levels and subjects from PRE-K- 12th. I want to help students catch up, or get ahead with content being covered in class. One on one tutoring has proven to allow students to grow while working independently. I am willing to do in home tutoring multiple times a week, or agree to meet at a local public library. Once I make a commitment to a student, their progress and success becomes my goal, and I work restlessly to achieve it. I believe patience is key in building rapport with a student. Every child learns differently and has potential, my priority is meeting them at their level and building from there.
