About Heather

I am an experienced local elementary art teacher who has been in the field for 7 years and has babysit for over 10 years. I'd describe my personality as creative, caring, and outgoing. I like working with kids because I love seeing them express themselves and find new adventures. I'm looking for a job that allows me to bring my creativity to the kids. I started working with kids when I was in college. I began babysitting several families, then went on to become an elementary art teacher. In my spare time, I like to run outside, spend time with my husband, and paint with watercolors. One thing you should know about me is that I am a very family oriented person who truly will care about the children I am working with as if they were part of my own family! My skills include being CPR certified, being a licensed Virginia teacher, and being able to care for multiple children at once.
