Hello! My name is Carey and I am a certified K-12 teacher, who has worked primarily with middle school students (6th-8th grade) as an art teacher. I began my work with children when I was 11 years old, babysitting for my entire neighborhood. I continued to work with kids, as I did an AmeriCorps teaching program in DC, got my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education, and a Masters In Teaching. I am currently pursuing a second masters degree in Art Therapy. I LOVE doing art or any creative projects with kids, swimming, baking, and taking nature walks.
