About Emily

I'd describe my personality as patient, hard-working, positive, and sincere. I like tutoring because I like to see kids grow in confidence when learning a new skill and I love to make learning fun. I believe that students benefit from the connection with a one-on-one tutor. I started tutoring during the summertime when I was not teaching at the elementary school. I tutored for four summers. In my spare time, I like to play with my daughter, listen to music, and spend time outside. One thing you should know about me is I teach kindergarten and have also taught preschool and first grade.
