About Emily

Hello! My name is Emily and I have recently moved to New Paltz, NY. I graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a B. A. in psychology and a minor in education in the spring of 2020. I graduated from Lesley University in the spring of 2023 with a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education. While completing my masters, I worked with a family in the suburbs of Boston nannying for a 1. 5-year-old child and continued to do so up until I began my teaching career. I then went on to work for two years at The Preschool Experience in Newton, MA as a lead teacher in a 3-year-old classroom. I have also worked as a paraprofessional with two special needs first-graders for Vernon Public Schools (CT) during their summer school program as well as completed my student teaching in both a kindergarten and first grade classroom. Lastly, I have babysat for a wide age range of children over my undergraduate and post graduate careers.
