Emily is genuine, energetic, fun, and overall a lovely human!! I’ve worked with Emily in a paraprofessional and teaching capacity (I’ve been a SPED instructor for 12 years now) before hiring her as our family babysitter, and I have been so impressed by how she works with neurodivergent kiddos, how she supports behavioral incidents, and is always student/person centered in all she does! Emily is a very creative problem-solver, always brings joy and lightness to her interactions, and is always willing to join kiddos in their adventures and imaginative play! She is always brilliant with my kindergarten-age munchkin with ASD/ADHD (he still asks for her all the time!) and she’s wonderful with hyperactive dogs/puppies too!
