About Madeleine

Hello, I'm Maddy! I'm originally from southern Illinois near St. Louis, MO but moved here to pursue a Biology, Society, and Environment degree at UMN. While in undergrad, I was a supervisor in Admissions and a tuba player in the marching band! After graduating this spring, I'm now pursing an M. Ed and teaching license, hoping to teach HS or MS biology! While I was in high school, I was a part-time babysitter for 2 lovely boys (9, 11) and a camp counselor at a theatre camp (ages 5-13). Between these two jobs, I made a lot of chicken fajitas and sang a lot of camp songs! In the past 4 years, I've gained more experience as an AVID tutor and assistant teacher at local middle schools. If your student needs some extra homework help, I am happy to assist! In my spare time, I like to do a craft! My mom was an art teacher so I'm well-equipped with the knowledge and skills to help your kids make some life-long treasures! With an additional supplies cost, I'm happy to have a craft night!
