About Ella

Hello! I am certified special education teacher (282 license) with summers off. I have experience teaching students grades K-3 reading, writing and math. I have taken extra courses through LETRS which follows new research on the science of reading and I follow curriculum that is Orrin-Gillingham based such as Seeing Stars and SPIRE. I have taught students with varying skills and abilities, including students with Specific Learning Disabilities (such as dyslexia), ASD, and OHI (ADHD). I enjoy teaching all three subject areas as well as executive functioning skills. I want to meet students where they're at and teach into their skills and help close any gaps. Learning should be engaging, especially in the summertime! I'd love to help your student succeed.
