About Annika

There is no better way to learn than one-on-one support! I am currently a fourth year medical student (on a research year) and have many years of experience working with tutors and being a tutor myself. The collaborative nature of tutoring is one of the best ways to learn and keep information accessible and interesting! As an undergraduate student I worked for three years as a writing tutor at my college writing center. I provided one-on-one consultations and editing to help my peers develop their writing skills. During this time I became a College Reading and Learning Association certified Writing Tutor and developed a love for helping people with all types of writing projects from essays to personal statements. I also have worked as a science tutor for the Cambridge Community Learning Center helping community members prepare for GED exams.
