I have been babysitting for 13 years and I have spent 7 years working professionally with children and teens! I've cared for kids ages infant-18. I spent 2 summers working as a camp counselor for children ages 5-18 in an educational and therapeutic manner. I have also run support groups for teenagers and lead educational museum tours for youth ages 10-18. I get so much joy out of caring for kids! I love music, reading, and crafting. I'm always happy to do outdoor activities with kids and to help with homework or teach them new things. I completed the Red Cross Babysitting and Child Care course in addition to consistent First Aid/CPR training. I also love pets and would be happy to care for them! I have my own car and would be happy to help with transportation.

Smart, responsible, resourceful, and incredibly kind, Emma is an absolutely wonderful babysitter, and she is one of the very few people I trust to take care of my son (who simply loves her). She has an upbeat, engaging, and yet very calm manner with children, and she possesses that magical talent of making the dreaded parent exit stress-free. Splendid with kids of all ages, Emma has the unique ability to quickly get a strong sense of a child's personality, and she adjusts her plan and approach according to what works best for the individual. She provides a fun, active, and varied experience for kids: When she babysits my son, for example, they do art projects, play sports and imaginative games, and experiment with musical instruments (Emma is a talented musician who knows how to share her enthusiasm for the arts). My son is so very happy after she babysits, and for days he will describe all of the fun things he did when Emma came to visit, always asking when she can come back.
