About Demitra

Hi there! My name is Demi, and I'm a college student about to begin my master's degree in Health Technology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign this fall. I'm passionate about working with children and have spent the past two summers as a camp counselor, where I worked one-on-one with children with special needs, including autism and ADHD. These experiences have helped me develop patience, creativity, and a strong sense of empathy. Coming from a big family, I'm one of four siblings and have always been surrounded by kids. I love creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment for them. Whether it's helping with daily routines, engaging in educational play, or just being a positive role model, I truly enjoy making meaningful connections with the children I care for.
