30 years tutoring experience one-on-one with learning disabled and dyslexic clients, using the Multisensory Approach Reading Proficiency for Remedial lessons. {Ex: Phonemic awareness, phonics, Multi-sensory strategies for reading, writing & spelling Syllabication patterns for encoding/decoding). Since 2016, in Las Vegas, NV, I have been teaching children with ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia, & struggling readers. I assist your learner K4-adults in phonics & reading proficiency, rebuilding their self-confidence and self-esteem for success. Also, I was a Home School Instructor for 5 yrs; teaching my own children to excel in reading & language, in which 1 entered the gifted program in High School, benefiting her college entrance. I have also been teaching my students Internationally. Need tutoring locally, moving, job, vacation? Due to COVID, I ALSO provide Online Tutoring for children behind in grade levels. Currently preparing to launch Online Accelerated Reading Phonics Classes

Online tutoring with Doris the tutor has been powerfully personal for our son. She quickly understood him, and it hasn’t been hard for him to understand her. She chose out fun and interesting stories to read and write about, together. He looked forward to drawing time at the end of their sessions, and he was proud of his art!
