About Melissa

Hi! I'm a licensed Nevada teacher with a Master's degree in Education, over 9 years of classroom teaching experience, and 11 years of experience in recreation and youth programs. I also have CPR and First Aid training. I've worked with children from infants to middle school students, both in the U. S. and internationally. My experience includes teaching, tutoring, swimming instruction, and childcare. I'm patient, dependable, and creative. I love helping children learn and grow through reading, educational games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and hands-on activities. I believe in creating a safe, nurturing environment that builds confidence, independence, and curiosity. I'm available for occasional babysitting, date nights, part-time nanny positions, and regular childcare. I can also assist with homework, phonics, reading, and educational enrichment. I look forward to meeting your family!
