About Davia

Hello families! My name is Davia and I am a recent UCLA graduate with a B. A. in Education and Social Transformation. I am passionate about supporting students' academic, emotional, and personal growth through patient, individualized instruction. I offer K-5 Math tutoring aligned with Common Core, K-12 English and Reading support, and college-level essay and application guidance. For two years I worked as a BruinCorps Tutor at UCLA Community School, supporting neurodiverse second and third grade students in Reading, English, and Math. Through America Reads, I specialized in literacy instruction, helping students improve comprehension and vocabulary. I also provided small-group support to students with autism, dyslexia, and ADHD, strengthening my ability to differentiate instruction and adapt to diverse learning styles. I value building trusting relationships and creating a supportive environment where students feel empowered to succeed.
