Hello, I am a natural born caregiver. I thrive in the role of support person with an empowering love. I was a nanny for many many years. Being with little folk was one of the joys of my life. Then my mama became ill and I was her caregiver. She passed in my home on hospice. There was so much sacredness about being with her during her most tender time. It lead me to wanting to be of service for elders as a new direction. I have taken many online courses. I have worked as a companion for a lovely elder in her home. I learned hands on personal care skills as well as ADL's with several folks as an in home caregiver. Mostly, I am confident, creative, compassionate, joyful, and open hearted. Charity is a very warm and nurturing care provider. She is marvelous with babies and they have her full attention. She was our nanny for our son from 6 mo to a year or so, when I lost my job.
