About Cate

I'm a caring, dependable childcare professional with a passion for supporting children and families. For the past 18 months, I worked at an autism learning center, leading a class of 8-10 first graders as an Autism Specialist. I have experience supporting children across the autism spectrum, including clients with significant behavioral and physical needs, and I am Safety-Care trained. I'm also experienced with special needs care, including wheelchair use and adapting to individual abilities and communication styles. As a former birth doula, I have several years of experience supporting mothers and families, including newborn care and caring for infant twins. I genuinely love babies and children, and they tend to gravitate toward me! I'm taking leave from the classroom to be more available for my own daughter and am excited to support another family. I'm kind, attentive, patient, hardworking, and especially mindful of the needs of those who may not be able to advocate for themselves.
