About Carlee

My name is Carlee, and I am a Wharton graduate (B. S. Economics) and artist. I've received awards and been honored for my community leadership, films, essays, and poetry. I love math and have a certificate in Spanish. I have worked with children for a majority of my life as a tutor, teacher, and camp counselor. I've worked with toddlers and infants as a camp counselor, all the way up to high school students | taught a summer film course with Domus Kids, Inc. During my time at UPenn, I received an award for my outstanding impact on the elementary students I volunteered with during afterschool. In middle school and high school, I released two children's books, one with my mom and the other by myself. These allowed me to speak at schools and book clubs around Connecticut, helping inspire the young people in my community. Caring for the next generation is extremely important to me, and I believe understanding and empowering young minds is one of the most profound things to do in life.
