About Rebecca

Hello all! My name is Rebecca, and I'm a recent graduate from Boston University, where I studied philosophy. At my commencement ceremony, I was chosen by the faculty to be the Student Commencement Speaker, and received the P. Bertocci Award for Philosophical Excellence. My forte is analytic writing, reading, and reasoning skills. In the last two years of college, I was a writing tutor. I helped my peers with analyzing complex texts and creating argumentative essays in response. I was also a summer camp counselor at Great Books, where I led discussion groups with children ages 5-17. In my spare time I practice ceramics and yoga, and I'd describe my personality as empathetic and organized. My goal in my tutoring practice is to help children and young adults realize their intellectual potential! Additionally, I will not use or encourage AI use in my sessions whatsoever. I'm looking forward to meeting you or your kids, and putting our minds to work together. :)
