I'm passionate about unlocking every student's unique potential through personalized support. With a graduate degree and four years of experience, I focus on building confidence and a love for learning. I am a certified teacher, and I am familiar with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). By actively listening and observing, I adapt my teaching methods to each student's learning style, incorporating visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their interests and celebrating small successes. Open communication with students and parents is essential for understanding needs and setting clear expectations. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I am happy to help with Math and English at the elementary level at locations such as libraries, community centers, schools, and coffee shops.
