About Ryan

I believe every student can achieve their goals with the right support. For about two years, I've created engaging and patient learning environments where children develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I actively listen to and observe my students, adapting my teaching with visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrate small successes to keep students motivated. Open communication is essential for understanding student needs and setting clear expectations. Seeing a student's confidence grow is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I have some college experience and can help with English, Science, Art, Music & Drama, Special Education, and Study Skills. I am ready to help at your student's home, center, library, community center, school, or coffee shop. I also have CPR and First Aid training and am okay with pets! I can't wait to help out!
