About Ashleigh

Hi! My name is Ashleigh, and I have tutored students for a little over 3 years. I enjoy tutoring because it is incredibly fulfilling to help a student realize their potential. Whether it's catching up, or preparing for an important test, I am dedicated to helping students understand challenging material and 'get to the other side'. I take a tailored approach with every student I work with. I take time to get to know students as individuals. Understanding their world makes it much easier for me to connect the dots between class material and their own lives. I pull from multiple teaching styles when working with students too, to see what type of educational style works best for them. I have experience tutoring AP Chemistry, Physics and Biology, as well as 9th/10th grade math and science. At the K-8 level, I have tutored all subjects and have more experience with neurodivergent youth.
