I am passionate about helping students unlock their potential and achieve academic success. I hold a college degree and create engaging, patient learning environments. I adapt my teaching to each student's individual style by observing their interactions with new material and varying my strategies. I empower students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills for long-term success. I keep students motivated by celebrating small wins and breaking down complex problems. Communication is essential for understanding needs and building trust. The most rewarding aspect of being a tutor is witnessing those "aha!" moments and seeing confidence grow. I am comfortable with pets, have a car, and am CPR and First Aid certified. I can tutor Math, English, Art, Music & Drama, Sports & Fitness, and Study Skills at the Elementary, Middle, and High School levels. I can tutor at the student's home, online, the library, a community center, school, or a coffee shop.
