I have a BA and over three years of tutoring experience with Study Smart Tutors and Diamond Learning Center. At both of these companies, I worked with students from 6th-12th grade, supporting them in Math and ELA. I am most comfortable tutoring math up to 9th grade level, but can assist in ELA learning at any level. My degree is in Theater, making me more than equipped to tutor in any performing art, from acting to singing, to dance or playwriting. I feel that studying theater made me a confident communicator and has helped immensely with my teaching skills. My training showed me how to explain concepts in a creative way, and help students reach a deeper level of understanding within any subject.
