About Amelie

Hi! My name is Amelie and I am a sophomore at UVM currently pursuing a double major in Global Studies and Spanish with a minor in Education:) I've always had a love for taking care of kids, starting when I was younger, with my niece and my little cousins. I feel that's really where my passion for childcare grew. I've been told I'm patient and calm, and I love getting creative with fun activities; whether it's outdoor play, crafts, or just a good book! I also make sure parents feel comfortable and informed, keeping them updated on their child's day and any little things that come up. I'm used to handling multiple kids at once [I've worked summers at camps and I currently work at an elementary school after classes!] I'm also happy to help with meal prep, light housekeeping, carpooling, or even traveling when needed. And with First Aid and CPR certification, I'm confident in handling any situation that might come my way:)
