I'm Anna, an experienced childcare provider with a background in both a nature-based preschool and a Reggio Emilia-inspired early childhood program. I believe care should be joyful, focused on each childs interests, and rooted in connection. My approach is child-led and play-based, with a strong focus on emotional attunement--meeting children with warmth, respect, and responsiveness so they feel seen, safe, and able to grow their own sense of efficacy. Our home has a large outdoor space, is a short walk from the Williston library and community playground, giving us opportunities to explore. A typical day will be filled with as much outdoor time as possible, art/sensory play and trips to the library for story time. Anna is a fantastic caregiver. She watched my 2-year-old this summer and was so thoughtful and creative with activities for my daughter. They spent so much time outside, in the woods and at playgrounds, and Anna always set up a sensory activity in the mornings to ease into the day. She is a strong communicator - on-time and responsive and handled our irregular summer schedule with grace. Can't recommend Anna highly enough!
