About Nia

I come from a big family with lots of cousins, both old and young, and that means that I've both taken care of my younger family members and been cared for by older family members. I know what good quality care looks like, and I also know how much a child's life can be positively impacted through that loving care. On top of this unpaid work that I've done to help my family, I've done professional work as a babysitter since I was in 8th grade (I'm a sophomore in college now). I've always loved working with kids. There's something about knowing that you could make a child's day a little brighter or that you could have an impact on them and their development in any way, that is so incredibly rewarding.
