About Alison

Hi there! My name is Alison and I've been working with children of all ages and abilities for many years. I have an Associates Degree in Child Development as well as a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Studies with a multi-subject pre-credential concentration. I also have a site-supervisor permit throught the California Teaching Consortion. I am a certified water safety instructor/swim instructor through the Red Cross and have been teaching swim lessons for over 15yrs. I have babysat and been a nanny off and on since I was 16 (now 39). Im currently a preschool teacher in Santa Rosa and I will be starting the teaching credential program at Sonoma State in the Fall of 2026. I love working with children, I have a fun and energetic personality and love incorporating the outdoors as part of learning. Im looking for extra work while I attend school, if the fit is right I would be willing to look for a more permanent position with a single family. Hope to hear from you soon! -Alison :)
