About Kristen

I have 20 years of experience working with children of various ages and backgrounds, including teens. I have a Master's in Education from Dominican University of California, as well a Special Education Credential, a Multiple Subject Credential, a Single Subject Credential in English, and an Early Childhood Special Education Credential. I also intend to obtain my PPS permit in the coming year and move into school counseling. I trained as a Resource Specialist in a K-8 program, and a third grade general education classroom with full inclusion students. I've taught for 10 years as a class room teacher and special education teacher. In addition, I've been a case manager for students in various special education placements, facilitated IEP meetings, written developmentally appropriate goals to meet individual learning needs, and monitored and shared progress with parents.
